Enable a 25 year old legacy system to move to cloud.
To create a new cloud based architecture for web based application. Develop various APIs which should communicate seamlessly with other products of the new envisioned platform.
The new application should match with the “Unified” design guidelines in terms of consistency, branding guidelines, and usability patterns defined by design team and improve the user experience of the existing application.
My task was to design the 'Settings module'. It was 5% user base. I had to understand the legacy application's functionality, match it to their vision for 25 years from now and come up with Ui solution which matched the current style guide.
The process I followed was:
4D Desing Process: Requirement gathering, concept generation, ideation, prototyping, concept evolution
Development Handoff: The approved wireframes were mapped to the sprint. Every feature walkthrough was given to the development team in the presence of the product owner
2 epics, 6 features, a total of 140 approved screens were delivered for the final UI in a span of 8 months
Design tool: AxureRP8

I led a design team to identify functional bugs and UI bugs on UAT. In a span of three months to identofy 350 bugs
Regular cross conenct with team to get a closure on all of the bugs
Collaborate with scrum master, solution architect to check feasibility and implementation process
Advocate the basic UI laws with front end team members
Bring teams on the same page with style guide adhering to usability rules
Design Audit example: THe image on the top is the designed screen. In every milestone, a ppt and excel was shared with the team with hte bug descroption
